Mishima is a land-locked city in the north of the Izu Peninsula. Home to the main Shinkansen station, it is very easily accessible. Mishima is also famous for it’s own Mishima croquette, a must-try if you’re in the area!

How to get to Mishima

✿ Bullet Train (Shinkansen)

From Tokyo Station, take the bullet train to Mishima station.

Cost: ¥4,600 (as of December 2020)
Time: 53 minutes

✿ Local Train

From Tokyo Station, take the JR Tokaido Line for Atami. Switch to the JR Tokaido Local Line and continue on to Mishima. It is also possible to change trains in Odawara.

Cost: ¥2,310 (as of December 2020)
Time: 118 minutes
