Ose Beach

BEACH

The sea around Cape Ose boasts some of the clearest water in Japan and many divers visit throughout the year for scuba diving. During summer many families also come with their children to swim as the area is shallow and inland, making the waves much calmer than other beaches around Japan.

There is a paid car park available with prices starting at 300 yen for 1 hour, 1,500 yen for 5-8 hours and 100 yen for every 2 hours after that.

Review

Ose Beach is a gorgeous place to visit no matter the time of year. With excellent views of Mt. Fuji, I recommend coming in the winter season as it can be difficult to get a clear view of Mt. Fuji on a summer day. However, if you’re interested in swimming/scuba diving, summer is definitely the time to visit!
